Former Arkansas guard Tramon Mark announced his transfer destination on Sunday.
The Razorbacks’ leading scorer during the 2023-24 season at 16.2 points per game, Mark is transferring to Texas. Joe Tipton of On3.com was the first to report the news.
A Dickinson, Texas, native, Mark spent his first three college seasons at Houston before landing at Arkansas last spring and putting up career-best numbers under Eric Musselman. He will now return to his home state to play for Rodney Terry, who has guided the Longhorns to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments.
On April 7, Tipton reported that Mark planned to enter the NCAA transfer portal. On3 considered him the No. 25 available player in the portal.
Texas is set to join the SEC in the 2024-25 athletic year.
