Offseason Timeline

Adou Thiero, who played the last two seasons at Kentucky, committed to Arkansas. He is the fourth transfer portal commitment of the spring for the Razorbacks under John Calipari.
Devo Davis committed to Oklahoma State. The guard was committed to the Cowboys before ultimately signing with the Razorbacks and former head coach Eric Musselman. Layden Blocker also committed to DePaul.

Khalif Battle committed to Gonzaga over finalists Villanova and Kansas State. He is the third player on Arkansas’ 2023-24 roster to commit elsewhere this spring, joining Tramon Mark (Texas) and Baye Fall (Kansas State).

Trevon Brazile, who declared for the NBA Draft on April 8, entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Arkansas reportedly picked up a pledge from FAU guard Johnell Davis, widely considered the top available player in the transfer portal.
- April 29
Arkansas gained a commitment from Tennessee transfer forward Jonas Aidoo. He is John Calipari’s second portal commitment of the spring.
- April 26
Arkansas picked up a commitment from 4-star wing Billy Richmond, giving the Razorbacks three high school flips from Kentucky’s 2024 class.
- April 25
Arkansas and John Calipari received a commitment from 5-star guard Boogie Fland, giving the Razorbacks two high school flips from Kentucky’s 2024 class.
- April 22
Arkansas gained a commitment from 5-star wing Karter Knox, who visited the Razorbacks to begin the week. Knox is a former Kentucky commitment.
- April 15
Arkansas and John Calipari landed a transfer commitment from former 7-2 Kentucky center Zvominir Ivisic. He committed two days after entering the transfer portal.
- April 14
Tramon Mark, Arkansas’ leading scorer in 2023-24, committed to Texas. Joe Tipton of On3.com was the first to report the news. Mark became the first player on the Razorbacks’ roster last season to commit to another program.
- April 8
One day after reports surfaced regarding John Calipari finalizing a deal to become Arkansas’ next head coach, forward Trevon Brazile told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony he is declaring for the upcoming NBA Draft and signing with an agent.
Later on Monday, freshman signee Isaiah Elohim requested a release from his NLI with Arkansas, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.

The hits keep coming for the Hoop Hogs. Sunday afternoon, On3.com’s Joe Tipton reported that Arkansas’ leading scorer Tramon Mark was set to enter the transfer portal.
- April 6
Arkansas freshman signee Jalen Shelley has requested a release from his National Letter of Intent with the Razorbacks and will reopen his recruitment. Shelley — a 4-star wing out of Link Academy — was one of two high school commitments to the program in the 2024 class.
- April 4
Baye Fall is set to enter the transfer portal. The freshman appeared in 9 games and averaged 0.9 points and 1.3 rebounds for the Razorbacks in 2023-24. Arkansas is down to three scholarship returners for next season’s roster. Later in the day, CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reported Khalif Battle will also enter the transfer portal.
Earlier Thursday evening as the dust settled following Eric Musselman’s departure for USC, transfer commit Josh Cohen announced he was flipping his pledge from the Razorbacks to the Trojans.

Joseph Pinion, who played two seasons for the Razorbacks, committed to Arkansas State, becoming the first departure from Arkansas’ 2023-24 roster to announce a transfer destination.
- March 29
UMass forward Josh Cohen committed to the Razorbacks out of the transfer portal. In 2023-24, Cohen was a first-team All-Atlantic 10 selection for the Minutemen. He averaged 15.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game on 54.4% shooting.
- March 21
Layden Blocker announced in a post to his social media account that he is entering the transfer portal. Blocker averaged 3.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 27 games as a freshman. He had a season-high 14 points in Arkansas’ loss at Florida.
- March 20
Davonte Davis entered the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. He averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 132 games over 4 seasons at Arkansas. The Jacksonville native engineered several of the program’s most memorable NCAA Tournament moments.

- March 15
Joseph Pinion and Keyon Menifield announced plans to enter the transfer portal the day after Arkansas’ season-ending loss to South Carolina at the SEC Tournament. Denijay Harris will also enter the portal, according to a report.
