The Arkansas football team’s 2024 season opener has been moved up two days, it was announced Friday.
The Razorbacks are set to begin Sam Pittman’s fifth season against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday, Aug. 29 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Thursday night season opener is Arkansas’ first since playing Florida A&M at War Memorial Stadium in 2017.
The Razorbacks are 1-0 against UAPB. Arkansas defeated the Golden Lions 45-3 in Little Rock during the 2021 season.
The Razorbacks on Saturday will wrap up spring drills with their annual Red-White Game in Reynolds Razorback Stadium. It will begin at noon and be available for streaming on SEC Network+.
