The Hogs knocked off the Dukes 6-4 in the season opener on Friday before earning a run-rule victory on Saturday, 15-5. Below are the starting lineups for each team.

- Arkansas 1, James Madison 0: Ben McLaughlin pops one up to shallow left field, and it falls for a hit between two Dukes. Aloy comes all the way around to score, and McLaughlin advances to third base on the throw home.

- Ross Lovich works a five-pitch walk to move Wagner to second and keep the inning alive.

- James Madison will go to the bullpen for the first time and bring in closer RHP Joe Vogatsky to face the top of the Arkansas lineup with two away.

- Ryan Dooley keeps the inning alive by ripping a 97 MPH fastball back up the middle for a two-out single.
- O’Donnell puts a good swing on a 1-0 fastball and lines it to center, but Wilmsmeyer is there to make the play to end the frame.

- Vogatsky strikes out McLaughlin swinging and gets Wagner to pop up behind home plate to retire the side in order.

- Schiavone flies a 2-2 fastball to right field, and Diggs is there to make the play near the foul line for the third out as Gaeckle completes a 1-2-3 frame.

- Lovich puts a good swing on an 0-2 fastball, but Trimble camps under it in fairly deep center for the first out.
- Holt grounds one to the left side, and a nice play by Calabrese at shortstop retires him. The call was upheld after a video review to see if Holt beat the throw to first.
- Vogatsky gets a 3-2 fastball by Souza for the third out to complete another 1-2-3 inning.
7th Inning

- Wyatt Peifer lays down a perfect drag bunt down the third-base line and beats it out for a leadoff single.
- A wild pitch moves Peifer up to second base.
- A five-pitch walk to Ike Schmidly will put runners at first and second with nobody down and the top of the JMU order coming to the plate.
- Mancini lays down a sacrifice bunt, and Gaeckle makes the throw for the out. James Madison is now challenging the call of out at first base.
- After review, Mancini is ruled safe at first base. It’ll go down as an infield single that will load the bases with nobody out.
- Arkansas will now turn to junior RHP Jake Faherty to face Fenwick Trimble with the bases juiced and nobody down.
- James Madison 3, Arkansas 2: Trimble lines a 1-2 fastball up the middle for a base hit. That’ll move everyone up 90 feet, give the Dukes the lead and keep the bases loaded with nobody out.
- James Madison 5, Arkansas 2: Dooley lifts a fly ball to center field. Wilmsmeyer makes the play, and it’s deep enough to score the run from third. Wagner cut off the throw home and misfired with his throw to third, and it got away and allowed another run to score.
- James Madison 6, Arkansas 2: O’Donnell grounds a chopper to Aloy at shortstop. The run from third scores as Aloy makes the throw to first for the second out. Bases now empty as the Dukes take a commanding lead.

- Vogatsky continues to cruise to start the home half of the seventh, getting Wilmsmeyer to go down swinging at a breaking ball.
- After White flew out to right, Kendall Diggs breaks a streak of nine straight Hogs retired by ripping a two-out double into the gap in right-center.
- James Madison 6, Arkansas 3: Wehiwa Aloy goes the other way and hits a 92 MPH fastball to right-center field for an RBI double.
- Ben McLaughlin works a five-pitch walk to keep the inning going and put runners on first and second.
- Jack Wagner is hit by a breaking ball. That’ll load the bases with two outs and bring the go-ahead run to the plate.
- Lovich pops one up on the infield for the third out, and that will strand three.
8th Inning

- Arkansas will now bring in freshman RHP Tate McGuire to make his collegiate debut.
- McGuire collects his first strikeout with a 94 MPH fastball swung on and missed at the top of the zone.

- Peifer is hit by a 2-2 fastball after falling behind 0-2. Runners now at first and second with one away as Arkansas pitching coach Matt Hobbs comes out for a mound visit.

- Coleman Calabrese follows with a soft grounder to the left side, which goes down as an infield single after Aloy’s throw pulled Wagner off the bag.
- Jacob Steinberg slaps a single through the right side, and Calabrese tried to score from second after advancing on a wild pitch, but Diggs’ throw from right field reached home in plenty of time to record the second out.
- Foutch gets a strikeout looking in a 3-2 count to end the frame after allowing a run.

- James Madison will now turn to RHP Jackson Logar on the mound for his second outing of the weekend.
- Diggs grounds one up the middle, leading to a 4-6 putout at second. Diggs beats the throw to first to keep it to one out.
- Diggs is thrown out trying to advance to second on a ball in the dirt. Hogs now down to their final out.
