Former Arkansas guard Devo Davis has committed to a new program, he announced Monday.
Davis, a native of Jacksonville, committed to Oklahoma State. Prior to committing to and ultimately signing with former head coach Eric Musselman and Arkansas, Davis was a Cowboys commit.
He reportedly visited Oklahoma State, Florida Atlantic and Grand Canyon this spring.
Davis, a 6-4 guard, averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals over 4 seasons with the Razorbacks. He started 85 of 132 games played.

Davis put up a career-best 10.9 points during the 2022-23 season and guided Arkansas to a second-round upset win over No. 1 overall seed Kansas in the NCAA Tournament. He finished with 25 points in the game, including 21 after halftime.
The guard also engineered numerous other memorable March Madness moments. As a true freshman, Davis made the game-winning shot against Oral Roberts in the Sweet 16 and averaged 14.3 points in the NCAA Tournament.
The following season, he put up 14 points off the bench in a first-round win over Vermont. In 2022-23, he recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals against Illinois, helping set up the meeting with the Jayhawks.
In his last go-around at Arkansas, he scored in double figures six times, including just once against SEC competition — Vanderbilt in the conference tournament. He reportedly entered the transfer portal six days after the Razorbacks’ season ended with a loss to South Carolina.
Davis took a leave of absence from the program in each of his final two seasons in Fayetteville. He missed one game in 2022-23 and three last season in the heart of league play.
Oklahoma State last season went 12-20 overall and 4-14 in Big 12 play. The Cowboys in April hired former Western Kentucky coach Steve Lutz to take over for Mike Boynton, who was let go after seven seasons.
“Devo is a great person from a great family, and he has an incredibly engaging personality,” Lutz said in a release. “Cowboy fans will see some of that same energy out on the basketball court. He is a multi-dimensional athlete who plays with effort and purpose on both ends.
“He’s made big plays in big moments over the course of his career, and I’m confident he’ll do the same here at Oklahoma State.”
