Arkansas offensive lineman Andrew Chamblee and defensive end Jashaud Stewart are no longer with the Razorback football program, head coach Sam Pittman confirmed Tuesday.
Chamblee — a Maumelle native — started eight games as a redshirt freshman last season and was expected to be a key contributor up front in 2024.
“Andrew Chamblee just lost the love for the game,” Pittman said. “He decided to start his college as a regular student career.”
Stewart — another in-state product out of Jonesboro — spent four years with the program but was hampered by injury last season.
In just 5 games, Stewart came away with 5 tackles, including 2 for loss, and 0.5 sacks.
He was suspended in December following an arrest in connection with residential burglary and first-degree criminal mischief.
“Jashaud is no longer on the football team,” Pittman said.
The Razorbacks are set to begin spring ball Thursday with the first of 14 scheduled practices in advance of the annual spring game on April 13 at noon inside Razorback Stadium.
