Cam Little drafted by Jaguars in 6th round

Arkansas kicker Cam Little was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the No. 212 pick in the sixth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.

He was the first Razorback selected in this year’s draft.

Little closed his time at Arkansas as the most accurate kicker in program history. He made 20 of 24 kicks in both 2021 and 2023, and was 13 of 16 in 2022.

Last season, Little was 9 of 12 on kicks from 40-plus yards out. His 53 career made field goals are tied for third most in a career at Arkansas.

“Little generates good velocity into the ball and hits it with consistency,” NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein wrote in Little’s draft profile. “He will leave some kicks out to the right on misses, but you won’t see dead pulls. He has the leg strength for the league and just needs to become more automatic on kicks from 40-49 yards out.”

Little is the first Razorbacks kicker to be drafted since Zach Hocker in 2014.

At least five Razorbacks — offensive lineman Brady Latham (Jets), defensive back Dwight McGlothern (Vikings), defensive lineman John Morgan (Patriots), defensive lineman Trajan Jeffcoat (Saints), linebacker Antonio Grier (Buccaneers) — have signed free agent deals since the draft.

The Buffalo Bills also reportedly invited defensive back Alfahiym Walcott to their rookie mini camp.
