Keyon Menifield intends to enter the transfer portal after one season at Arkansas.
The 6-1 transfer guard’s plans were first reported by Joe Tipton of On3 Sports. Menifield joins Joseph Pinion and Denijay Harris as Razorbacks to hit the portal on Friday.
Menifield began the 2023-24 season as a non-scholarship redshirt and did not play in Arkansas’ first 10 games. He was then granted a waiver by the NCAA for immediate eligibility on Dec. 15, one day before the Razorbacks’ meeting with Lipscomb in North Little Rock.
Menifield made his greatest impact in his third game, when he finished with 32 points and 5 assists in Arkansas’ 106-90 win over UNC-Wilmington on Dec. 30. He also had 16 points at Missouri and 15 against Georgia.
The guard injured his groin Feb. 17 at Mississippi State and did not play in the final six games of the regular season and did not travel with the team to the SEC Tournament in Nashville.
He averaged 7.9 points on 37.5% shooting this season.
