Arkansas Football Transfer Portal Tracker

Spring practices have come to an end at Arkansas, and a new transfer portal window has officially opened up for college football.

Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks will be hunting for reinforcements at several positions heading into the summer, but there is likely to be a healthy amount of attrition from the roster as well.

Here is a look at Natty State Sports’ Arkansas football transfer portal tracker with a timeline of who is out, who is in and other notable developments with the roster:

Offseason Timeline

  • May 7

The Razorbacks reportedly picked up a walk-on commitment from Monte Harrison, a former 4-star football prospect in 2014, as a wide receiver. He was selected in the second round of the 2014 MLB Draft. Harrison played two seasons for the Marlins and one for the Angels in 2022. He will be 29 years old when Arkansas plays its season opener in August.

The Razorbacks gained a pledge from 6-0, 195-pound South Florida transfer wide receiver Khafre Brown. He finished 2023 with 27 catches for 435 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Bulls. Brown recorded 412 yards and 3 scores in 2 seasons with the Tar Heels. He is Arkansas’ ninth transfer commitment of the spring.

Arkansas picked up a commitment from Danny Saili, who played at Hutchinson Community College last season and signed to play at BYU last December. The 6-2, 355-pound defensive lineman recorded 21 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks and 1 forced fumble in 2023. Saili was named a second team JUCO All-America selection late last year as a sophomore. He is the Razorbacks’ eighth transfer commitment of the spring and second from Hutchinson CC.

Arkansas gained a commitment from junior college running back Tyrell Reed. The 5-10, 195-pound back last fall played his freshman season at Hutchinson Community College, where he rushed for 833 yards and 13 touchdowns, according to his Blue Dragons profile. Reed was named a second-team All-American last December. He is the Razorbacks’ seventh transfer pledge of the spring and second addition to the running backs room.

  • April 30

Former Coastal Carolina quarterback Blake Boda announced his commitment to Arkansas in posts to his social media accounts. He played in 1 game last fall and completed 1 pass for 14 yards against Texas State. He is the sixth transfer pledge of the spring for the Razorbacks.

Former Marshall linebacker Stephen Dix Jr. announced his transfer commitment to the Razorbacks, via his social media accounts. The 6-1, 237-pound junior racked up 67 tackles (30 solo), 7 TFLs, 2 sacks and 1 fumble recovery for the Thundering Herd in 2023. Dix spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons at Florida State, where he combined to make 58 stops.

Defensive back RJ Johnson reportedly entered the transfer portal. He played in Arkansas’ season opener against Western Carolina in 2023.

According to a report, quarterback Jacolby Criswell has committed to North Carolina. Criswell began his college career with the Tar Heels.

  • April 29

Arkansas running back Dominique Johnson entered the transfer portal, according to On3.com’s Pete Nakos. He is the second running back to transfer from the program since spring drills ended, joining Isaiah Augustave.

His best season with the Razorbacks came in 2021, when he rushed for 575 yards and led the team with seven scores on the ground. Johnson battled a pair of ACL injuries to the same knee at Arkansas. Overall, he ran for 785 yards and eight touchdowns.

Former Syracuse offensive lineman Joe More, who has one season of eligibility remaining, also signed with Arkansas. He was limited to 3 games and 29 snaps in 2023 because of an injury. The Tennessee native began his career at Richmond.

Defensive back Lorando “Snaxx” Johnson committed to Baylor. He began his career with the Bears before transferring to Arkansas.

  • April 26

Arkansas gained a transfer portal commitment from former Utah State defensive back Anthony Switzer, according to a post to his X account. Switzer, an Arkansas native, recorded 84 tackles, 8 for lost yardage, and 3 sacks last fall for the Aggies. He also broke up four passes and had five quarterback hurries. Switzer began his college career at Arkansas State.

  • April 22

Defensive back Lorando “Snaxx” Johnson is expected to enter the transfer portal, according to a report by Brandon Marcello at 247Sports. Johnson started 12 games for the Razorbacks last season, logging 29 tackles, 5 pass breakups, 4 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 1 interception.

  • April 20

Transfer linebacker Larry Worth III announced his commitment to the Razorbacks on Saturday afternoon. Worth spent the last two seasons at Jacksonville State. The 6-4, 220-pound junior-to-be racked up 63 tackles (28 solo), 3 sacks, 1 forced and recovered fumble, and 1 interception in 2023.

Paris Patterson, an offensive lineman from East St. Louis, Ill., is set to enter the transfer portal, according to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports. He did not see the field during the 2023 season. Patterson initially signed with Arkansas over Iowa State, Kansas, LSU and other schools.

  • April 19

Arkansas reportedly picked up a commitment from Florida State running back Rodney Hill. In 2023, he rushed for 190 yards and 1 touchdown on 50 carries. Hill had a career-high 55 yards rushing against Duquesne to begin the 2022 season.

The Razorbacks’ running backs group is led by Utah transfer Ja’Quinden Jackson and returnee Rashod Dubinion.

  • April 18

Starting punter Max Fletcher has entered the transfer portal after two seasons in Fayetteville. In 97 attempts the past two seasons, Fletcher averaged 43.2 yards per punt with a long of 71 and 33 punts inside the 20-yard-line.

  • April 16

Redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Andrew Chamblee officially entered the transfer portal. It was reported that Chamblee had retired from football prior to the start of spring practices, but the Maumelle native will explore his other options. He started eight games at left tackle last season.

Former defensive end Jashaud Stewart entered the transfer portal. The Jonesboro native was arrested and suspended from the team for a December burglary charge and did not participate in spring practice.

  • April 15

Redshirt junior quarterback Jacolby Criswell entered the transfer portal after one season at Arkansas. The Morrilton native appeared in 4 games last season and had 17 completions for 143 yards and 3 touchdowns. He started the season finale against Missouri.

  • April 13

Sophomore running back Isaiah Augustave announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal just hours after the annual Red-White Game. Augustave rushed for 202 yards and 1 touchdown on 35 carries as a true freshman in 2023.
