The Arkansas Razorbacks were inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium this morning for an intrasquad scrimmage in front of a few hundred fans and media members.
The first-team offense, led by Taylen Green at quarterback, put together back-to-back touchdown drives against the first-team defense as Luke Hasz hauled in a 24-yard touchdown pass, and Ja’Quinden Jackson scored on a 10-yard run. Later in the scrimmage, Green found Isaiah Sategna for a 33-yard touchdown pass.
While the first-team offense found several explosive plays, the defense held it in check for long stretches of time and shut it out completely during the team’s red zone period at the end of the scrimmage.
Both the second and third-team offenses moved the ball well at times, but they didn’t score any touchdowns outside of the red zone period. Later in the scrimmage, the Hogs did some situational work with specific downs and distances, which is when the defense really shined.
Hudson Clark finished the scrimmage with an interception downfield against Green during a two-minute situation.

Other Notes & Observations
- Wide receiver Andrew Armstrong did not participate in the scrimmage after getting banged up at Thursday’s practice, but he got some conditioning in with a few other injured players, including Jaedon Wilson and Bryce Stephens, off to the side.
- Kicking was a bit of an issue for the Hogs. Both Matthew Shipley and Vito Calvaruso made 31-yard field goal attempts and made their extra points, but each had at least two misses on field goals.
- Carson Dean worked with the first-team defense at linebacker, and Brad Spence ran with the second group.
- Malachi Singleton took the first reps with the second-team offense, and Jacolby Criswell also rotated in with the group while Taylen Green worked with the 1’s, and KJ Jackson with the 3’s.
