Arkansas basketball to face Kentucky once in SEC play

The Southeastern Conference on Monday released men’s basketball opponents for the 2025 league schedule.

Arkansas, which hired longtime Kentucky coach John Calipari in April after Eric Musselman departed for USC, is scheduled to play the Wildcats once — at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. The programs had met twice each of the last two regular seasons.

According to the release, the Razorbacks will play three teams – Texas, LSU, Missouri — at home and on the road. Dates and game times for all 18 conference matchups will be announced at a later date.

Arkansas is set to play home-only games against Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Oklahoma.

The Razorbacks will play road-only games against Auburn, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.

Conference play is set to begin on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, according to the release.
