Former Arkansas offensive lineman Andrew Chamblee is officially in the NCAA transfer portal, he announced in a post to his X account Tuesday.
“First and foremost I want to thank God for blessing me in every way possible,” he wrote. “Without him, I wouldn’t be who or where I am today. I want to thank my parents for helping me through his journey. Every step of the way, y’all have been there and I’m very thankful.
“I want to thank all the coaches and staff at the University of Arkansas for helping me become a better person. I want to thank Coach Pittman for giving me a chance of opportunity during my time on the hill.
“With this being said I will be entering the transfer portal with three years of eligibility.”
A Maumelle native, Chamblee started eight games as a redshirt freshman in 2023 and, prior to spring practices, was expected to be a key contributor on the offensive line in 2024.
On March 5, Sam Pittman told reporters Chamblee “just lost the love for the game” and decided to become a regular college student. On March 29, reports surfaced that Chamblee intended to enter the transfer portal.
He initially signed with Arkansas over offers from Auburn, Florida, Michigan State, Ole Miss and other programs.
