Arkansas quarterback Jacolby Criswell is in the NCAA transfer portal after one season in the program.
A native of Morrilton, Criswell was originally a 4-star recruit, the No. 2 player in Arkansas and the 23rd-best quarterback in his class, per 247 Sports.
Criswell spent three years with North Carolina, where he played two seasons and redshirted his third. He appeared in 13 games and threw for 204 yards and 1 touchdown on 31 attempts.
His most notable game with the Tar Heels came in his sophomore year against Wofford. He completed 11 of 19 passes for 125 yards and ran for 66 yards in the 34-14 win.
Criswell then transferred to Arkansas and spent a single season with the Hogs. He appeared in 4 games last season and had 17 completions for 143 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The bulk of Criswell’s playing time with the Razorbacks came in the season finale against Missouri. He completed 12 of 20 passes for 96 yards and 1 touchdown after entering for an injured KJ Jefferson.
In last Saturday’s spring game, Criswell was 3 of 8 passing for 19 yards.
Running back Isaiah Augustave on Saturday announced plans to transfer from the program hours after the spring game.
