Arkansas junior guard Tramon Mark plans to enter the transfer portal, according to a report by Joe Tipton at On3.com.
The news comes just days after the announcement that head coach Eric Musselman would be departing Fayetteville after five seasons for the same position at USC.
Mark was a clear bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season for the Razorbacks after transferring in from Houston last spring.
The 6-6 wing led the team and averaged a career-high 16.7 points per game in the regular season on 48.2% shooting from the field, a 37.0% clip on 34 made three-pointers and just a shade under 80% from the stripe.
Mark scored more than 20 points in 10 separate contests and also pitched in 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game on the year.
He poured in a season-high 35 points on 8 of 15 shooting with 17 made free throws and hit the game-winner in the closing seconds in Arkansas’ 78-77 home victory against Texas A&M on Jan. 16.
At the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas, Mark averaged 23.6 points and put together a masterful 34-point outing with four made triples against North Carolina.
Mark logged his first and only double-double of the season when he went for 25 points and 11 boards against Abilene Christian on Dec. 21.
